KwaZayeka Community
KwaZayeka is a vibrant and culturally rich community under the Mpumuza Traditional Authority, guided by Induna P. Ndlovu and his five councillors. This community carries a deep historical significance, as it was named after Zayeka Makhathini, a highly respected figure who worked closely with uMkhandu wakwaMpumuza. Zayeka was a trusted advisor to the Inkosi, known for his wisdom and ability to bridge generational gaps by sharing valuable insights with both the young and the elderly.
The community of KwaZayeka is made up of seven sub-areas, each with its own unique identity and heritage: eKhongo, KwaNomngcoyi, KwaMandlakazi, ePanekeni, eNyonithwele, eBhoshazi and KwaSkhakhane
Together, these sub-areas form a close-knit community rooted in tradition, respect, and collective progress.

Isakhiwo Sami Project
The Isakhiwo Sami project is a transformative housing initiative spearheaded by Induna P. Ndlovu and the Zayeka Traditional Council in partnership with a specialized construction company. This project focuses on providing Gap Housing to eligible low-income earners within the KwaZayeka community.
Through collaboration with the Department of Human Settlements and the Finance Linked Individual Subsidy Program (FLISP), the project ensures that qualifying individuals with monthly earnings between R3,550 and R22,000 receive fully subsidized homes—meaning recipients are not required to pay back anything.
The Isakhiwo Sami project is more than just a housing initiative; it is a commitment to uplifting communities, enhancing livelihoods, and promoting sustainable living. By providing decent and affordable homes, the project fosters stability, dignity, and long-term security for families who would otherwise struggle to enter the housing market.
